Project mission

The ARCOE project aims to strengthen Europe’s research and innovation ecosystem by developing a virtual talent innovation hub. It begins with an organisational assessment across Widera countries to evaluate HR practices, career development frameworks, and alignment with the European Charter for Researchers. A gap analysis will identify areas for improvement, and 15 participating organisations will be supported in applying for the HRS4R. The hub will provide centralised access to training, networking, and career services, with a focus on digital transformation, deep tech industries, and the Green Deal. ARCOE also promotes collaboration between academic and non-academic sectors through its Meet&Match system to foster mobility and partnerships. A long-term business plan and a targeted communication strategy will ensure sustainability and broad impact. By creating synergies with other initiatives, ARCOE supports the development of attractive and sustainable research careers across Europe.
